lamps

With Diwali approaching, it is the time to light candles – it is the time to spread happiness. As Coca Cola would say – “do diye aur jalao” (light two lamps more).

The timing couldn’t have been better, Mohit and Raveesh had a visit to orphanage in Indra Nagar – Lucknow and got some wonderful input. The orphanage has 16 children who are provided education and taken care of. Ma’am told that we can help them in three ways:

1) Providing help by donation in cash

2) Providing anything in kind

3) Giving our time with children

It is time that we take the first step and spread happiness in whatever way we can.

We are planning to visit the orphanage this Saturday at 5 PM. If you can donate some shoes or want to make any voluntary donations then let us know. You can join the conversation on FaceBook.

Lets take that “Pehla Kadam” (first step)!!!

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. - Tony Robbins

Since most of us understand the language of accounts a little better than a detailed prospectus, lets try to define our Goals and develop a Vision by drawing a Receipts & Payment statement.

Please post ideas for the activities we can take up. May be we can have a monthly meeting to begin with. We can begin with spreading ideas among us and then moving beyond. Or we can sponsor some events, or try to create some movement. It will be best if we all can share your views and come up with some ideas through comments below.

If you want a love message to be heard, it has got to be sent out. To keep a lamp burning, we have to keep putting oil in it. – Mother Teresa

WE are the enthusiastic youth of this beloved nation. It is certainly not enough to get a good education and a good job. It is the time, we can give back to the country.

YoungForce was an idea initiated by Chandra Shekhar Sir. He had a vision that there should be a team of young professionals who can exploit their expertise for the betterment of the nation. We are the ones who can provide solutions to various problems. We are the ones who understand the statutes. We are the one who hold the lamp.

To keep the lamp burning, we continuously need to improve not just ourselves but also the neighbor next door. We need to continuously educate ourselves and also spread this knowledge. This is the time, when we should stop complaining about various problems and put our hands together to provide solutions.

As said in Rang De Basanti:

“There are only two ways to live life: Tolerate things the way they are…Or, take responsibility to change them.”

With Young Force, we seek to build a community of professionals who will take up issues ranging from fight against corruption to improving education system, and provide solutions to it. Young Force is a community based forum, where anyone and everyone can contribute.

The Young Force is here.

Jai Hind.
